The book The Ladybug and the Penguin by Markus Saksatamm was bestowed the honour of being “The Best Book in Russian Published in a Foreign Country” by the Russian Publishers Association.
From the competition, 502 books from Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, Israel and Poland took part. The competition was held for the 25th time. Altogether there were 16 categories with 73 books receiving awards.
